2 great reasons for having kids–

A long time ago, in agrarian America, people had lots of children to help work on the farm, and to perpetuate the family business. (Yes, of course, they loved and wanted their children, just like us.)

But we are an advanced species now! Today’s world has evolved drastically, so now we have children to help us navigate—no, survive–in a totally techie world. I mean seriously, remember when everything had just one button? The TV was on or off. The lights were on or off. Phones were simple to use. Now everything from the remote control on up has multiple buttons and switches and wires and interconnects and takes a specialist to hook up and install. And hours of your time if it ever breaks down….

Fast forward to 2009, the Year of the Massive Government Bailout, and now there’s another great reason to have children—to pay for all of this! I’ve already prepped my sons –ages 15 and 19 –to plan on being in a 90% tax bracket for the rest of their working lives. Who needs Social Security? We’ve got child labor again.

It will be fascinating to see how all of this pans out….
